Happy Spring 2011... I'm Back!

I can hardly believe it's been well over a year since I have posted anything on my blog! The last time was Winter 2010, and now it's Spring 2011... time flies... when you're overwhelmed!! But I won't go into that right now. :)

Although I may not have been blogging, I certainly have been making greeting cards for anyone I thought needed one... you know, a birthday here, a holiday there, etc. So I thought I would post a few pics of some cards I made over the past year, especially the ones that celebrate spring. Of course, I used my cricut to make each of these cards, and some of the stamps I used are by Robyn Cardon - My Pink Stamper. Most of my paper was also DCWV, and I often used Stickles, various punches, ribbons, and other bling.

Enjoy the view of my cards for now, and look forward to a video that I will make and post in the next couple of weeks.

Thank You for Being There

Here is the video of how I made my greeting card. This was my first attempt to demo. I used a real camera this time! Hopefully the quality will show. Be sure to watch in its entirety. There a surprise at the end. Oh... when I listened to the end of the video, it sounded like I said a word that I don't include in my vocabulary... I didn't say it... it only sounds like it... really!

It's 2010! Happy New Year, and praise the Lord that we're here! And on that note... "Thank you for being there" is the sentiment that I wrote, I mean stamped, on the front of this card. This sketch challenge comes from "Our Creative Corner" (SASSC46). Hope you like my artistic interpretation! So... I'm going to post this now while it's still New Year's Day! I'm a Video Girl!

Ok... so check this out... I just uploaded my very first video on youtube. It was me without any makeup (but plenty of acne on my face! LOL!) talking about the Christmas card that I posted below. In the video, I said that it was Christmas morning, but it was actually Christmas night. Anyway, my friends... you better watch this soon, 'cause I'm going to take this video off the sight real soon! So... here it is....

It's still Christmas on the West Coast, so I thought I'd complete another Christmas card today and wish everyone a Merry Celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ!

Wow! I did it again! I made another card just in time to enter an online challenge. I've never done this before, so hopefully I've followed all the rules. Since I stayed up all night and into the morning to make this card, I'm too tired to figure out the technicalities. Wish me luck! Oh, and Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
